2021 CAP Ride
Together, from where we are
The Annual Canada Africa Partnership (CAP) Ride is a fundraising bike-a-thon where Canadian organizations come together to raise funds for community-led impact in African communities.
As we remain socially distanced, we take to our bikes to come together and keep moving forward.
Together, from where we are | Event dates: June 1-6, 2021

Is your organization supporting or working to implement grassroots projects in partnership with African communities?
If yes, we welcome you to register as an organizational partner in the 2021 CAP Ride!
Upon registration, we will set you up with a team, then riders will be able to join your team and raise funds through our online fundraising platform. Riders will also have the option to create their own team in support of your organization.
Questions? Contact the organizer here.
Together, we are expanding our impact.

Find your cause – each Canada Africa Partnership Ride team is fundraising for a charity or project supporting community-led development efforts focused on advancing education, investing in livelihoods, adapting to a changing climate and promoting health in African communities.
Join or create a team – find the partner you'd like to support on our website and register to join their team (or create your own supporting team)! We’ll set you up with your own personalized fundraising page that you can use to reach out to your community.
Start fundraising – reach out to your family, friends and communities to tell them about what you’re doing and invite them to sponsor your ride!

As we unite in a common effort to ensure the safety of our communities during COVID-19, we invite you to stand in solidarity with our African partner communities by joining this year's virtual ride. We invite all participants to complete a 15km bike ride from their home. Ride week will be marked by opening and closing ceremonies, and will include a team scavenger hunt.
You’ll write to ride@capnetwork.ca with # of kms biked or walked, and with pictures of the items on the list that you find. These will all contribute points to your team for prizes to be awarded during the online closing ceremony! Share a photo of yourself online and tell us why you're riding (we will send you swag in advance of the ride)!

Tuesday June 1st at 7pm ET: Participants join online event kick-off, receive list of clues and challenges for team points!
Complete rides, runs or strolls - and challenges - by Sunday June 6th at 3pm ET, emailing results to ride@capnetwork.ca as you complete them!
Sunday June 6th at 5pm ET: Participants join online closing ceremony for presentation of winning teams and prizes
