The Canada Africa Partnership Ride is an annual bike-a-thon where a network of Canadian projects and organizations raise funds for grassroots impact, led by our respective African partners. You can support one of our participating partners by riding solo to raise money for one of their teams, creating a team of your own to fundraise with, or by making a donation!
Last year, from June 1-6 riders across Canada participated in the 2021 Virtual CAP Ride in support of strong communities where health, education and livelihoods thrive in a sustainable environment. Read about the ride on our blog and in the Toronto Star!
Create a team with family and friends, or ride solo to raise funds for the cause of your choice! Check out this year's partners to decide who you want to raise money for.
In 2021 we raised $101,039!
Donate now to help kick start our 2022 fundraising efforts!
We are raising funds for education, clean water, food security, healthy children, families and whole communities.

Ride Week

Join other riders for an exciting virtual opening ceremony on Wednesday June 1st at 7pm ET, where we'll hear from partners and special guests, kick off event week and launch the team scavenger hunt challenge. At the end of the week, we come back together for the closing ceremony and presentation of winning teams and prizes (most raised, biggest team, and scavenger hunt winner), on Sunday June 5th at 5pm ET.

We invite participants to complete a 12km bike ride in their own neighbourhood. If you can't bike - no problem! You can walk, run, roll, or participate in the event in the way that works best for you. Share a photo of yourself online and tell us why you're riding (we will send you swag in advance of the ride) - tag #CAPRide #CAPRide2022 #CanadaAfricaPartnership

During the opening ceremony, we will launch a scavenger hunt challenge that participating teams will have the duration of ride week to complete. Coordinate with your team members to solve clues and find items along your ride. You'll write to ride@capnetwork.ca with pictures of the items on the list that you find. These will all contribute points to your team for prizes to be awarded during the online closing ceremony!
