The Canada Africa Partnership Ride is an annual bike-a-thon hosted by CAP Network where a network of Canadian projects and organizations raise funds for grassroots impact, led by our respective African partners. You can support one of our participating partners by riding solo to raise money for one of their teams, creating a team of your own to fundraise with, or by making a donation!
Last year from June 1-4, 74 riders across Canada participated in the 2022 Virtual CAP Ride in support of strong communities where health, education and livelihoods thrive in a sustainable environment.
Thanks to the support of over 550 donors,
together we raised $52,598!
Read about the ride on our blog and in the Toronto Star!
Thanks so much to all of our supporters!
This year is our 20th anniversary, help us reach our goal of raising $60,000 for locally-led projects in Africa! You can support by donating to CAP Network, or join the CAP Ride to fundraise for one of our partners!
We are raising funds for education, clean water, food security, healthy children, families and whole communities. Your generosity is making a real difference in communities in Africa!

2023 Ride Week

Join other riders for an exciting virtual opening ceremony on Thursday June 1st at 7pm ET, where we'll hear from representatives from our partner projects, kick off event week and launch the scavenger hunt challenge. At the end of the week, we come back together for the closing ceremony and presentation of winners and prizes (most raised, most donors and scavenger hunt winner), on Sunday June 4th at 3pm ET.

We invite participants to complete a 10km bike ride in their own neighbourhood, or with us at one of our events! If you can't bike - no problem! You can walk, run, roll, or participate in the event in the way that works best for you. Share some photos or a video of yourself online and tell us why you're riding (we will send you swag in advance of the ride) - tag #CAPRide #CAPRide2023 #CanadaAfricaPartnership

During the opening ceremony, we will launch a scavenger hunt challenge that participants will have the duration of ride week to complete. Solve clues and find items along your ride for a chance to win a prize from one of our sponsors. You'll write to ride@capnetwork.ca with pictures of the items on the list that you find. These will all contribute to points for prizes to be awarded during the online closing ceremony!

This year, CAP Network is celebrating our 20th Anniversary! What better way to celebrate than to gather many like-minded organizations to fundraise for our projects in Africa!
During this year's Ride Week, CAP Network invites you to gather and Ride together in Toronto's High Park! We will meet at 12pm on Sunday June 4th for a short welcome celebration before heading out for our Ride together along the lake. After the Ride, we invite everyone for a picnic in High Park to get to know the other Riders and meet the Team Captains of the participating Partner Projects.
Can't make it out to High Park? That's ok! You are welcome to ride anywhere during Ride Week (June 1-4) and can stay connected through our virtual ceremonies as well as on Social Media! We will also be hosting satellite events across the country. Stay tuned for information on locations to meet other CAP Riders! Check out the About Page for all the details!
