ABCD: Art Building Children's Dreams is a registered charity that raises funds here in Canada to help disadvantaged children in Tanzania to stay in school, to improve their well-being and to improve the educational environment. We believe education is the key to the eradication of poverty.

We are thrilled to report that many ABCD children are now in colleges and universities all over Tanzania. Some are ready to enter the job market and start giving back to help younger children in their home communities to stay in school!

We consider ourselves a ‘grass-roots’ organization and our work is entirely volunteer driven!

The Canada Africa Partnership (CAP) Ride bikeathon is an annual fundraising event hosted by the CAP Network in support of participating African projects focused on Advancing Education, Investing in Livelihoods, Adapting to a Changing Climate and Promoting Health for the most vulnerable.

Now, in its 17th year, the CAP Ride has raised nearly $500,000 for participating projects over the years.
