Ride in support of Graceland Africa Mission!
IT’S NOT CHARITY - IT’S INVESTING IN PEOPLE - IT’S FINANCING HOPE
Since 2005, Graceland Africa Mission has been making strategic investments in people and communities in Kenya, financing hope and securing change. Through partnership we have assisted Kenyans with resources, education, and training.
In 2016, Graceland Africa Mission launched Right to be, a girls scholarship program dedicated to helping Kenyan girls obtain secondary and post- secondary school education and training. Girls are chosen based on their financial need, their ability and desire to continue their studies, and the agreement of their families to allow the girls to pursue secondary and post- secondary education.
Secondary school, college, and university is very expensive for Kenyans. And often it is girls in Kenya who are left behind when family funds are tight. The pandemic has made this situation even worse. We currently have over 20 girls registered in our Right to be scholarship program. Yet our financial resources are unable to cover the school expenses of many of these girls.
We are fundraising in the 2021 CAP Ride to provide scholarships for girls enrolled in secondary and post-secondary school in Kenya.
