Obituary of Stanley Waseleski – Bristol, CT


WASELESKI, Stanley “Stash” Stanley “Stash” Waseleski, 84, husband of Mary Ann (Dailey) Waseleski of Bristol, died Friday (Oct. 9, 2009) at Bristol Hospital. Stash was born June 26, 1925, in Bristol, the son of the late Stanley and Cecelia (Graskoski) Waseleski. Mr. Waseleski was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and retired from Connecticut Spring in 1990 after serving there for 41 years. In addition to his wife of 62 years, he is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, JoAnn and David Pratt of Raymond, ME; his brother-in-law Jim Dailey; his sisters-in-law Ruth Harris and Vera Rasmussen and a cousin Ronnie Jensen all of Utah; his cousin William and his wife Jean Waseleski and their family; and his niece Carol Jean and her husband Jay Meisinger and their family. He was predeceased by his brother Walter Waseleski. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Matthew Church on Wednesday, October 14 at 11am. Burial with military honors will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. O’Brien Funeral Home, 24 Lincoln Ave., Forestville, is assisting the family with arrangements.
