Massachusetts man accused of hitting man as his vehicle left a pool of blood – Fall River Reporter

A Massachusetts man is accused of hitting another man with his vehicle over the weekend.

According to police, just after 4 a.m. Saturday, Milford Police were dispatched to Milford Regional Hospital for a man who came in for treatment after being struck by a motor vehicle.

The victim in question told investigating officers that he had had a verbal argument with the suspect at approximately 2:28 a.m. after he alerted the vehicle driver that he was parked in the middle of the road. After the victim ran away, he heard the acceleration of a motorcycle before he was hit and fell over the vehicle. Milford Police Patrolman then responded to the scene of the collision and located items belonging to the victim and collected blood.

Through victim testimony and the investigation of the Milford Police Detective Bureau and CEMLEC Accident Recon, officers were able to locate the suspect vehicle and the alleged driver, 28-year-old Alejandro Gonzalez of Milford. Gonzalez was arrested at 5:48 a.m. and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, operating a motor vehicle without a license, violating marked lanes, leaving the scene of personal injury and negligent operation of a motor vehicle to endanger to bring.
