Seven people were injured in a shooting in Long Beach, California, late Saturday evening, according to police.

Long Beach Police Department officers responded to the shooting in the area of ​​South Street and Paramount Boulevard around 11:15 PM PT.

“Approximately seven casualties have been reported at this time and all victims have been self-transported or transported by LBFD to local hospitals,” the department said in an update. The police will not say what happened in the run-up to the shooting.

Four of the victims are in critical condition, while three have non-life-threatening injuries, police said. It is not clear at this time if all victims were shot.
