Jordan Westburg sealed the deal with a single that reached the right field line in the 11th inning, earning his fourth hit of the game as the Baltimore Orioles posted a 5-4 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks on Saturday.

Gunnar Henderson added to the Orioles’ momentum with his 12th homer of the season, while Anthony Santander’s home run in the eighth inning tied the score at 4-all.

“Gunnar’s performance speaks volumes,” Orioles manager Brandon Hyde noted. “At 22, he is already showing promise, and he will only get better.”

Ketel Marte gestures after scoring

Craig Kimbrel rebounded with a scoreless 11th inning to secure the victory for the Orioles after facing some challenges in recent games. Baltimore, which leads the AL East, is on a roll, winning seven of its last eight games and boasting one of the best records in the league.

Westburg contributed with an RBI double in the second inning and singles in the fourth and ninth inning before hitting his go-ahead hit in the 11th, driving in Colton Cowser, who was automatically put on base.

“We really wanted to continue for our bullpen,” Westburg said. “They put together some solid innings. I believed that if we had more chances to score, we would eventually bring one home.”

Ketel Marte continued his impressive form with a 12-game hitting streak and a homer for the Diamondbacks, who haven’t won at Camden Yards since June 17, 2007.
