Emergency crews responded to the Snake River below the Perrine Bridge after receiving reports of an injured BASE Jumper.

Emergency workers arrived by plane and boat to help the injured man. The jumper was taken to the dock and then taken by ambulance to St. Luke’s Medical Center hospital.

The Twin Falls County Sheriff’s Office posted about the rescue operation on Facebook.

Comments on social media praised the first responders, saying:

  • I want to give an incredible shout out to your department on how fast your parent’s response time was. Truck and boat were ready to roll in the WATER in less than 5 minutes, which is incredibly impressive for how much traffic and pedestrians were down there.
  • I saw the reaction and it was really impressive! Thank you first responders for being so incredible
